Local Websites in a Nutshell

Many “local” sites are part of networks run centrally, whether by chains of newspapers or by entrepreneurs trying to enter the “ultralocal advertising” market. I am primarily interested in independently run local sites managed locally, so I do not currently plan to list all component sites in networks.

Instead, this page lists networks themselves.
